How Time Moves On...

Thoughts have been making me wonder recently... how things change, how friends move on.
I was thinking back through my very short life span, and how over especially the last 6 years, i have had so many people come and go throughout my life, and how some are still there.

This isn't a bad thing, but it just makes you think and believe that those that stay there are the ones you wil always be there. God puts people into your life so that you can learn from them, havee different relationships with them, and share this life experience together.
It sad sometimes when your at a reunion of some kind, and your in a room full of people who you once connected with on a very "real" level, you would have done anything for them, but yet now you feel awkward, you dont really know why your there, or what or how that person is anymore.
I guess this is just growing up?
People just come and go... but for the few people who will always be there... hold them close and be there for them..

The Wonder of Board Games

One night the electric went out.. bam.. what to do without technology and little money as a student... why get out the old board games of course?
Has it ever occured that these family past times have died?
there's more enjoyment outta these games as there would be playing the ps3 or xbox.

Modern technology have replaced these games, but evidence has shown that these games bring families together give it a go!

High intense moments, with good laughs shared all round with a lot of luck based dice rolls... Monopoly is a great night in!.. or so to speak.. just dont do it too often.. or people will begin to think your weird..

why can't i sleep?

So yeah I'm up again at the early hour of 4am, and believe me it's not the first time either.
So why can't i just tune my head from the noise of this world.. even when all is quite? My head's still buzzing!
Anyone got any tips on how to tune out?
Ok so maybe i should get up and start the day earlier, this student life has really got to me.. i mean, its not that maybe i cant sleep, but more to the point that my sleeping "pattern" is so messed up.. and when i wake up i dont want to get up.. its funny that.

Sometimes i think that God definitely created mornings to be enjoyed with the awakening of a new day, but yet i dont feel it.

I've tried reading, it tires me, ut when i go to go to sleep, my mind just wonders elsewhere, and in a matter of minutes im finding myself wide awake again, thinking of anything and everything. Does anyone else suffer this? hmm. well as pointless as this post may seem, its made me tired, so i may try and drift off here....

So like this quote or lyric has been floating in my head for over the last year and a half now. I first heard it by Tom deLonge on an AVA track "secret crowds"
It was so amazing, it struck me.

I mean good lyrics do, don't they?

But think about it, take a second a just think about those words.
SPREAD
LOVE
like
VIOLENCE



why spread?

we arn't forcing or taking, being force or anything like that, we are freely giving or sharing to others no matter who they are or what they have done.
spreading is like an infection. like a disease. like a virus.
its everywhere.
its here
its now
it will be
and it has been


LOVE?

not hate, like violence is associated with, yes im smart i picked up on the irony, but theres more to it than that.
we arn't talking about the "lovey dubby" sort or love... but the unconditional higher power of love.
What love is.
What defines love.
Jesus.
Some may say.
Others will wonder.

But its more than that, i mean love is what we hold, what comes from the soul, will reflect on our outter being. and if Jesus is Love, then really wether you believe it or not, what better Love than from a man who was Perfect. so to say.

VIOLENCE

why this word? because its everywhere, with or without love.
because it draws out our emotions. our desires. the depth of our sin.
if we were to spread love like this... the world would be a much better place.... our lives would be much ... well.... more loving?

So in otherwords... its more to say that we should replace violence with love, and spread it like we would spread violence.

take it on board.
leave me your thoughts.

just think on it, im not shoving down anyones throat, just merely reflecting.
